Channel 4 are preparing for a 3-D season although the republicans amongst you may be disappointed to hear that the main event is going to be a 2-part celebration of Her Majesty the Queen….. hooray, can’t wait for that. Other programmes featured will be smug-faced scaryman Derrin Brown doing peoples brains in, in a 3-D magic special; a run-down of the Greatest Ever 3-D Moments -although I can’t imagine that taking too long; and some yet-to-be-announced 3-D films. Whether or not any of this will be any good remains to be seen, but you can pick up a free pair of glasses to watch the action from sponsors Sainsburys in one of 500 or so of their stores, so it might be worth a look to see if things have moved on any from the rather appllling Jaws 3-D.
