The fact that the iPhone 4 is already attracting a certain kind of business that Apple are sure to find unsavoury is not without irony………

“Folks who want porn can buy an Android phone“, said a certain Steve Jobs not so long ago, in a reply to an email from a customer questioning Apple’s sometimes over-zealous censorship policies with regards to their app store. However, a recent advert in Craigslist suggests that despite this, porn is still very much an option for the Apple mobile handset.

The advert, which was picked up by the Business Insider, asks for applicants to work for an “online, interactive pornography firm”, from where they will use the iPhone 4 to use video chat for, er, “chatting” to potential customers “on a pay as you go basis”.

The women (strangely, the firm haven’t advertised to men) will get themselves a brand new shiny iPhone 4 which they are welcome to use in their own time and the job also offers flexible working hours and performance-related pay. That bit I could probably handle, and maybe even the talking bit – but it’s the performance of “various acts as desired by clients” that would probably rule me out.
